Video Quote of the Day - November 8, 2008 - Video Quote from Carl Cameron of Fox News

"Well I wish I could have told you back at the time, but all of it was put off the record until after the election." - Carl Cameron, Fox News

YAY! Fox News, you just reported some actual news FACTS. Granted it was just a bit late, but still.

I wish I could see what it was he wanted to tell us beforehand but it isn't playing Gene. I'm just getting a still frame of an ad for Comedy Central.

What was he talking about?

Cheryl, try clicking it again (possibly twice) and see if it plays now. I changed it to a different source, now direct from The Daily Show website. If not I will list what he had said about Palin before that quote.

Ok, that was hilarious. My pooter had major problems playing it but I got it eventually.

I know the second half was obviously comedy but the actual things that woman has said proves the point "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt"

I love Jon Stewart.

Jon Stewart is a genius.

Glad you got it to play Cheryl. My problem with your Others video the other day was my computer too. It worked after I rebooted.

The scary thing you two might not realize is - 84 year old Ted Stevens, a Republican senator from Alaska has been convicted of a felony. He WON his Senate seat election last Tuesday. That's right a convicted felon still won his election. He should be forced to step down from his seat. That means Sarah Palin will name a temporary replacement. Then there will be a special election to officially fill the senate seat. It is believed that is she does indeed have aspirations to run for president in 2012 she will run for this senate seat in the official election. She is also believed to be favored to win!

As i said, we haven't seen the last of her.

Is it legal for convicted felon's to run for office in the US? How very odd. They aren't allowed to vote but can hold office? what a strange and bewildering country you live in!

Well, he is a long-time Senator and was convicted of the felony about a week and a half before the election. the felony being excepting "gifts" from high powered companies to do work on his house. They redid the existing house and added on making it twice the size. I guess it was just too late to change the ballot. So he kept his spot and amazingly those same Alaskans that voted Palin into the Governor's office voted him back into his senate seat.
