The Munsters appear set to finally follow their fellow freaks of 1960s television, The Addams Family, onto the big screen.
The Wayans Brothers, the guys behind the original, and mildly amusing, Scary Movie, have told mtv.com they are finalising a script and almost ready to shoot.
No word yet on who will play the family - dad Herman, mum Lily, Grandpa, niece Marilyn and son Eddie - but, despite the Wayans helming the project, they won't be black.
