This may seem odd, but I absolutely love hurricanes. They fascinate me.
All of that power, all of that force. It’s a beautiful thing.
Yes they are deadly, yes they are destructive. And I know this first hand. Hurricane Allen destroyed my house in 1980.
But Allen did not destroy me. What I mean by that is that of all of nature’s destructive forces, a hurricane is the one that gives you the most warning. You know pretty much days in advance where it’s going to hit. Tornadoes and earthquakes and even tsunami give little warning.
