Spotlight Post: Orble Poll: Your opinions needed please!

I would like to thank D. Armenta for letting me "Spotlight Post" her post from debatefan.com.

Orble Poll: Your opinions needed please!

Across America, millions of pub-goers throughout the ages have started sentences with the phrase: "If I were president, I'd...."

I'm reasonably sure it's the same everywhere else, even if that statement has to be whispered for fear of "repercussions". Human beings are thinking creatures, and all thinking creatures have opinions.

Just for fun, let's all go to a virtual pub here at Orble and have a good old-fashioned opinion poll. I'll buy the first round.

Standing in front of us are three people who claim to have solutions to the current financial crises in the U.S. We cannot see their faces, determine their gender, or know their political affiliation.

I'm going to present a statement from each person. If you would, please indicate in your comment whether you agree most with person A, B, or C; if you don't agree with any of the statements, please indicate D (none of the above) in your comment and tell us why.

I'm looking for opinions from all people, not just Americans.

For the sake of the rest of the world...could you all please just vote Democrat? They're not perfect but fucking hell haven't you let these asshole Republicans do enough damage?

Hi Timmy,

Did you go pick a Candidate based only on reading their response to the economic question? I would be interested in seeing which you would end up choosing.

Me too.

I'm a 10 year veteran, but I've never voted Republican. Even when the democrat president was cutting my already meagre paycheck. We have to look at the big picture, not just what affects us personally.

I truly don't see much difference between the two main parties nowadays--they're practically interchangeable as far as policies, flip-flopping and lip service go. I want some facts, some straight answers, don't you?Aren't you feeling just a bit insulted at being talked to as though you were a 2-year-old having a tantrum?

Please go back and read each candidate's statements and make your decision from those, Timmy. Now more than ever, we Americans have to stop being lazy and start doing our homework instead of letting the biased media tell us what to think.

Hi Armenta,

See, I see big policy differences - abortion, education, healthcare, economic and war direction and such. Also it seems the biased Republican media lies more than ANYONE. They change the truth till it suits them, and don't care if there is a tape of them two weeks prior saying the exact opposite thing.

This other post of mine is a prime example of that. Click Here to watch it.
