There is a movement on Twitter to try and save the show, it is called the Earl Twitition, and has been getting quite a bit of attention.
I decided to take it a step further and created the site - www.SaveEarl.com to try and help save the show.
Most shows that get saved through movements like this have a grand gesture. As I touched upon in one post on the site: Jericho fans flooded CBS offices with nuts in connection with the final episode of the show. More recently Chuck fans marched in numbers to their local Subway. Both of those instances worked and saved the shows.
I came up with the idea for a grand gesture. Get millions of Earl fans to put on a mustache similar to Earl's and take a picture. Send those pictures to the networks involved. At the time my idea was to send them to NBC, FOX, and ABC - however in recent days it has become apparent that the basica cable network TNT might be interested in giving the show a fifth season. To help the cause a friend created the Save Earl computer game. Your goal in the game is to throw life preservers around Earl, Randy, Joy, Crabman, and Catalina to save them from drowning.
