My Exclusive Interview with Natalie Dylan Who is Auctioning off Her Virginity

]My Exclusive Interview with Natalie Dylan Who is Auctioning off Her Virginity

Natalie Dylan selling her virginity
As some of you who have followed my original story might know Natalie Dylan agreed to an interview with me.

I must start off by saying that I am somewhat astounded how the media only reports the bits and pieces that they want while ignoring some rather interesting parts of the story.

For my previous article I used some newspaper reports from the Sacramento area, which is where Natalie attended school at Sacramento State. A school from which she earned a bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies. She hopes to continue in school and earn her master’s degree in Psychology. With her ultimate goal being to start a Family Psychology practice.

She has decided to auction off her virginity for a number of reasons, not just the money, as will become apparent while reading through my interview with her.

To accomplish this she enlisted the help of Dennis Hof. For those that do not know of Mr. Hof, he owns the Bunny Ranch, a legal brothel, in Carson City, Nevada. The Bunny Ranch, and its staff are the subject of HBO’s Cathouse: The Series. The show chronicles the daily life of the women working at the ranch, and the inter workings of the brothel.

interesting interview. I do find it interesting that it's mainly about challenging the political scope of the term pro-choice (a term I've never liked myself, not because I'm pro life or anything, i just find it at times hypocritical, but i don't have the time or space to discuss why, nor would I want to change the focus of this post)..

I hope this tuns out ok for her, as she is about to be the world's most famous virgin.

Good work Gene.

Hi Tex,

And yet amazingly the newspapers, and I believe at least one TV station that have reported about it made not a single mention of that aspect.

She certainly seems to have her head on straight.

Thanks, I am still a bit surprised she agreed to let ME interview her. Just goes to show, sometimes all you have to do is ask.

excellent interview Gene!

brings up some interesting discussion points about "choice" and how the ability to choose is diminished when options are taken away

it may be a choice to trade sex for a million dollars but is it still a choice if trading sex is the only option for women needing food and shelter or even freedom?

Thanks Morgan,

Well, I would say for Natalie it isn't that she had no other choice, but just that it is the choice she decided to make.

However, I believe you are asking about other women and situations. I definitely understand your point in that manner. Sadly for some it comes down to being the ONLY choice for one reason or another. At that level I certainly think it becomes a problem. Also on that level it is mostly/usually the illegal "unregulated" form of selling sex.

As for Natalie, and from what I gather from everything that I have seen, the women at the Bunny Ranch seem to have many other options and chose to do it. If I remember right quite a few of them are putting themselves through school, or just earning a very good salary by doing it. Granted it is a bit of a different way to make money, they are doing it the right way, and choose to do so.

Hi Gene,

It was a great decision to interview Natalie - way to go!
All's fair in legal trade, I'm just worried about her feeling used. Things like that can linger. Although I guess, for millions of dollars, being used for one night might not be so bad, especially seems to be very practical and confident.

Maybe I should put 'empathy' or 'stimulating conversation' up on ebay and see what happens, lol.

ah, there's not enough of this.... when you want answers, go out and find them!

great stuff, Gene - go out there and find the real story...

Hi Postmodern,

Thanks. I agree, $1 million might make it a lot easier to get over feeling used for a night.
I bet eBay would have either of those pulled in an hour or two. Even though at one point I saw an auction that was someone selling "A good ass kicking." The person was offering to travel to wherever you were (you pay for it), and once there they would beat you up, then fly back home. I think it made it nearly a week before the geniuses removed it. I forget how high the bidding got.

Hi Cibbuano,

Thanks.

I keep saying I am amazed that she agreed to the interview, but I am starting to be less and less amazed. You see she was "on" Oprah yesterday - via phone call. I found this out in time to hit record on my DVR for the replay of the show.
I hadn't realized Oprah had become The View. For some reason there were four "panelists" talking about stuff; Oprah, her friend Gayle, Mark Consuelos, and someone named Alexander Wentworth.

Anyway they talked about a bunch of stuff, then about halfway through the hour long show they got to Natalie's story.

After a brief lead-in from Oprah they introduced Natalie on the phone. After allowing her a brief statement as to why she is doing this, Consuelos makes a joke about not understanding a word she said because her state was intelligent and well put - Wentworth joked that she wish she got $1 million from the first guy she was with. After some laughing, Gayle who began shaking her head and lookng pained by the entire story from the get-go talked about how for many their first experience is bad, and some times painful and asking if she thought it would be a better idea to be with someone that cared for her instead of thinking of her as a warm body.

They let Natalie get in very few words. As I said everyone is entitled to their opinion, as long as they let her talk and respond a bit. Oprah then rushed her along saying how she was running out of time for the segment.

In the end it was four minutes from start to finish - three of which was their banter - one minute, maybe, was allowing Natalie to talk. They had to get onto the pressing interview with Spike Lee that lasted 20 minutes, followed by an additional 10 minutes of the four of them talking and taking a question or two from the audience. The show started off talking about the economy and took questions from audience members for 20 minutes before Natalie's time.

So the reason I am not that amazed that she let me interview her now is because - I let her talk, I let her say what she wanted to say. Something it seems no one else has really allowed. Unfortunately for Natalie, I don't have an audience of millions.

I think good on her. I honestly don't think she is going to regret her actions. She is an obviously intelligent woman who has put a great deal of thought into her choice.

I think she would feel far more used if she lost her virginity to a man who dumped her in the normal course of things which happens every day. She is in total control over her choice.

Good interview Gene.

Hi Cheryl,

Thanks. I totally agree.

Trying to get more people to see the story I used those links at the bottom for the first time. Hasn't seemed to get anyone's attention on those sites. It might just be because I am a little clueless while using them. If anyone out there has more experience with them please do spread the word a bit.

I think she is a lazy whore who needs to get a real job.

And one thing you didn't ask was whether she has has anal or oral sex - which she has already admitted to!

Not to mention she is horribly ugly!

Good to see we have a bitter turned down bidder reading. I'd like to see a pic of Anon if they are calling Natalie "horribly ugly."

It's a tough one, thats for sure. She is smart and will make a lot of money, but I'm not sure she's the type of role model I'd want in my daughter's life. Obviously, although well spoken, she comes from a rough upbringing. So, who can judge. I wouldn't mind that kind of money for my first time, but I've a feeling that the people who would offer the huge amounts going, must be pretty old, gross or ugly if they can't already score young, pretty girls with their money.

Hi Anon,

Thanks for your comment. A well thought out comment at that. You never know she might luck out and have some younger heir to some fortune place a bid.

Anonymous up there is very funny. He seems to forget that being a virgin is a medical term for having a hymen, not for not having had oral or anal sex!
I learned about all this yesterday by watching a YouTube video of an interview with Tyra Banks posted in a forum. Tyra kept trying to make witty jokes about it and hardly allowing ND to put in a word edgeways.
I still don't see why the whole story should have so much publicity, but it helps get more people to bid and hopefully girls who really need the money and have what it takes to do this will benefit from it.

I think I already mentioned she's not worth paying much money for.

so long as you're paying for sex you might as well find a woman whose somewhat attractive, I'm sorry but her pale facial complexion with all that makeup lathered on does not an attractive person make.

I'm not sure I'm getting why everyone, pro or con, seems to associate womens' hymens with a business transaction.

I don't judge anyone for the choices they make in their own lives, but I do object to justifying the selling of one's virginity as "empowering to women".

Quite the opposite. Equating womens' bodies with merchandise for sale is taking them back a few hundred years.

Do what you want, Natalie, but please don't fool yourself that this is in any way "empowering."
