Image of the Day - November 15, 2008 - Spong Roots and Ruins, Ta Prohm - Angkor, Cambodia by Kenneth Parker

Since Kenneth Parker's exhibit begins today in San Diego I wanted to use one of my favorites that will most likely be on display for today's image.

I love how nature has just taken over this ruin site in Cambodia. This is another image where I wish I could be standing in the middle of it and look up and around to take in the entire view. I am sure it is an amazing site.

Not that he will read it before the exhibit opens in the morning, but I would like to wish Mr. Parker good luck and a successful opening. I would also like to thank him again for allowing me to showcase some of his amazing work.

I showed this one to a friend and she said, "is that a painting?" I love how many of his photos look like they are paintings.
