Warner Pine-ing for a Green Lantern

Chris Pine could be about to join Christian Bale and Sam Worthington as the next Harrison Ford. Not due to the fact they are going out with a stick figure - though I’m not quite sure who they are with to be honest (and I don’t really care). But, because they may all be involved in multiple action movie franchises.

Mr Ford was of course the main player in the still-running Indiana Jones series, and also a heavy hitter in the original Star Wars trilogy as Han Solo.

While Bale has already churned out two appearances in the Batman suit for Batman Begins (2005) and The Dark Knight (2008), he will soon be seen as John Connor in Terminator Salvation (2009) and probably a couple more times before he takes up directing, where he can really get stuck into the director of photography.
