. . . Chris Cornell left Soundgarden in 1997 due to personality differences, he released his first solo album "Euphoria Morning" in 1999. His first child (named Lillian Jean) was born in 2000 to his first wife Susan Silver. In 2002 Cornell joined Audioslave and went to rehab the same year. Silver and Cornell ended their 13 year marriage in 2004 and he re-married Vicky Karayiannis the same year. Cornell and Vicky were married in March 2004 and their first child together (Chris' second daughter) was born in September 2004 (named Toni). The couple had another child (a boy named Chris) in December 2005 and Cornell left Audioslave mid 2006.
