some people got a bit snarky about this one but i really think it is a positive story about how some sections of the church are accepting and welcoming gay people of faith, and recognising that abortion is a matter that women should decide not the courts . . . its called progress!

Yep, I think it is because their religion has been bred into them all their lives, and even though some forward thinking people within their religion can see things need to change it will take decades before many will admit it. All along the way they will say things about how the church will never change and how those that believe that aren't true to their god and should start their own new religion or something.

wouldnt it be great if the church promoted love and peace rather than fear and hate!
