Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. – A Brief Biography
Barack Obama, Sr. was born in 1936 in Nyangoma Kogelo village in Kenya. It is located on the shores of Lake Victoria. During his childhood he attended a missionary school, and worked as a goat herder.
In 1956, at the age of 20 he moved to Nairobi, Kenya where he began working as a clerk. At this time while he was on vacation in Kundy Bay, Kenya he met a 16-year-old girl named Kezia at a dance. Kezia was so struck by him that she followed him back to Nairobi. Her father and brothers soon followed to try and force her to come back to Kundy Bay, but she refused. The two married in a tribal ceremony January, 1957. His family sent Kezia’s father 14 cows for her dowry. The following year the couple had their first son, Abongo.
In 1959, he was chosen to take part in an American program offering educational opportunities to Kenyan Students. The leaders of the Kenyan Independence movement that had been essential in him receiving the scholarship hoped he would return to Kenya afterward to help develop his homeland.
After applying to about 30 different colleges he was accepted at the University of Hawaii. Once accepted he left for the United States to study economics. In doing so he left behind his now 18-year-old bride Kezia, and their 1-year-old son. Kezia was also pregnant at the time with their daughter who would be named, Auma.
Obama, Sr. is now 24 years old, and meets fellow student Ann Dunham in a Russian language class. Dunham is an 18-year-old student who just moved to Hawaii from Washington. They began dating, and just a few months later they married. No one was invited to the ceremony. Dunham was three months pregnant at the time, with Barack Obama, Jr. Their son was born on August 4, 1961.
The next year, at 26, Obama, Sr. won a graduate scholarship to Harvard University. He enrolled and left for Boston in September, 1962 to pursue a Ph.D. in economics. He left his now 19-year-old bride Ann and their 1-year-old son, Barack Obama, Jr. behind in Hawaii.
Ann Dunham sought and was granted a divorce in 1964.
Obama, Sr. graduated from Harvard at age 29 with a Master’s degree in economics. At this point he returned to Kenya, but not alone. He was accompanied by American teacher Ruth Nidesand who would go on to become his third wife.
Once back in Kenya he worked as an economist in the Ministry of Economic Planning. He wrote an article criticizing the government approach to economic planning for the East Africa Journal. These views put him at odds with Kenyan president, Jomo Kenyatta which led to his career being ruined.
He and Ruth had two children together, but after a seven year marriage she too divorced him. She has been quoted as saying, “he was a very difficult man, “ . . . “he wasn’t an easy person to be around.” One of his friends described him as being, “excessively fond of scotch,” and went on to say, “in his later years he had fallen into the habit of going home drunk every night.” The same friend pointed to that being a big reason behind Ruth divorcing him.
In 1971, Obama, Sr. travels to Hawaii to see his now 10-year-old son, Barack, Jr. It would turn out to be the final time the two would ever see one another.
Barack Obama, Sr. at age 46 was involved in a car accident in 1982 which led to both his legs being amputated. Soon after that accident he was in another car crash in Nairobi, Kenya. He did not survive the second crash.
One final note on Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. – He was born a Muslim, but was never a practicing Muslim. It was his father’s religion, not his. He was an atheist. His son Barack, Jr. was born to two atheist parents and was not brought up in a religious household, regardless of what some people like to make up. As an adult Junior chose to become a member of the Christian religion, and was sworn in with his hand on his family bible, not the Quran.

Thanks. I figured so many know so little about him, other than some rumors some try to start. I had written this over the past two days and then set the time for it to start automatically. Just prior to it starting I found a post that was once again claiming the Muslim angle again. I know this won't change their ignorant views, but perhaps I can help others see the truth of the matter.
Indeed he did not seem like a very nice person. He was actually still married to his first wife when he left for the US and then married Dunham. He most likely would have been married to Dunham at the time of his third marriage if she hadn't sought the divorce.

Sadly those that have spread the rumors that he is will continue to do so and convince some of it. What is even sadder is in recent days Sarah Palin has made a point of referring to him as Barack Hussein Obama.

You seem to be forgetting we got this way under 8 years of a guy named Bush. Although granted none of his ideas were really his. This shrinkage is still a result of that - these Obama ideas are what will turn these situations around in the nest 2 or 3 years. Not bad only taking 2 or 3 to fix 8.
If in 2 or 3 years I am wrong I will come and publicly apologize for being wrong.
Just remember last time a Bush left the White House it took Clinton a few years to turn it around, but by the time his eight years were over we had budget surplus. Which was of course disintegrated after 8 more bushy years (actually I think it only took like 2 or 3 bushy years).

Well when Bush took (also a keyword...TOOK the office)... there was a nice hefty budget surplus, and we were in between Bush wars...what was to complain about? Sure he slept around a bit, but hey the country was happy and prosperous.
I will admit not everything is Bush's fault, but there is a boatload that is his administrations fault. As for Cheney, he was one of the biggest problems in that administration, but again not the root of all the problems...maybe the root of all evil.
Anyway, thanks for sharing your opinions.

Barack Obama Sr never became a US citizen.
In order for Barack Obama Jr to be President of the US he must have 2, count them 2 parents who were US citizens.
That is the rule of law to be a Natural Born citizen which the President of the US must be.
There is no ill intent here but simply United States law..
Rules are rules even for the chosen one and every American citizen must wake up to reality.
He is not exempt from the law of the United States

The 14th Amendment says... "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."
Title 8 of the U.S. Code, Section 1401 defines all of the following as U.S. Citizens at birth...
ANYONE born within the United States.
Barack Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii...he is a citizen.

Barack Obama's mother Ann Dunham was born in Kansas and was a U.S. citizen and lived in the U.S. for many many years. He is a citizen.

Any one born outside the United States, if one parent is an alien and as long as the other parent is a citizen of the U.S. who lived in the U.S. for at least five years
So, even if the "crazy talk" was true and he was NOT born in Hawaii (which he was)... As stated a moment ago, his mother was a U.S. citizen and lived in the U.S. for much longer than 5 years... He is STILL a citizen.

And there are 18 letters in BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA. It is interesting to note that this is found in verse 18 (8 1=9), there are 18 letters in his name (8 1=9), and he took office in the year 09. In occult numerology, three 9’s indicates finality. Three 9’s are also an inverted 666. Born (manifested in the flesh) on August 4th (the 216th day of the year), 6x6x6=216. Lottery numbers in Chicago (where Obama was senator) on the day after he won US Presidency 666. The Zip code in Chicago Illinois where he was senator 60606 (666). Furthermore, Revelation 13:18 in the original Codex Vaticanus has the mark of the beast as this: This is not Greek writing. However, using our God given common sense and looking at current world events we can see how Islamic Terrorism is affecting the world. We name our children just because we like the name. God names people according to their mission. Since Satan is arch enemy number one of God and humanity; is it not logical to conclude that apart from the many prophecies depicting his every move God would also reveal to us his name when he comes to earth in the “likeness of a man”? After all, the first way to identify someone is by name. An interesting fact to note is that the Hebrews use a technique called –“play on words” to teach a truth or to get a message across. This is often done with names of people. Knowing this information, let's start with his name Barack Hussein Obama.
Luke 10:18, an often overlooked verse in Scripture, Jesus Christ says the following: “I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven”. The Old Testament is written in Hebrew, the New Testament is written in Greek. However, Jesus Christ is a Jew according to the flesh meaning he did not speak Greek he spoke Aramaic which is an ancient form of Hebrew. In the original Hebrew language the word for lightning is “barack”.
In Isaiah 14:12–14 we read, “How thou are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! You are cut down to the ground, you who did weaken the nations. You said in your heart, I will ascend into heaven. I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. I will sit also on the Mount of the Congregation on the farthest sides of the north (North what? North America!). I will ascend above the heights of the clouds and be like the Most High.”
The Hebrew word for heights/heavens is “bama”. The conjunction letter that joins the thoughts of lightning and heights is pronounced “U” or “O”. In other words, when Luke 10:18 is read in the original Hebrew language it reads, “I beheld Satan fall as barack obama”.

You also forgot to mention that he was elected on November 4th, uhoh, 11-4 that equals 6. And he won 28 of the states, uhoh 8-2 is 6. And he beat McCain by 192 electoral votes, uhoh 1 9 2=12 and 6 6 also equals 12. He got 69,456,897 in the popular vote and 6 9 4 5 6 8 9 7=54 and 5 4=9 . And he beat John McCain by 9,522,083... Oh wait, he beat McCain by 9,522,083 votes by the American public...perhaps you should get over it and move on to trying to figure out why the Mayans said the world was going to end in 2012, or why Rebecca Black is getting attention, or why the media can't choose one way to spell Gaddafi and stick with it.

I don't really think I assumed anything about you. Just the sheer fact that you are trying so hard to prove he is a Muslim shows that you are filled with at least some hatred toward Muslims, otherwise why would it even matter if he were?
I am willing to also bet that you are in that 47% of Republicans that believe the state of Hawaii and at least 50 other people are conspiring to cover up where he was born. Just a hunch there though.

You want to the job the guy is doing, that's one thing. When you want to use his religion (which isn't even his religion) to try and turn people against him it is something entirely different which has its roots in hate.

So you are trying to say that the boy in the pictures is not the same guy who is President? Well that is a new angle. So, the birth certificate just produced must be from the kid in the pic and isn't really the President's. But if he was going to make up an identity why would he pick someone whose dad is from Kenya, and who grew up in places like Indonesia, and who has a name like Barack Hussein Obama? Why not pick some kid from say Missouri with a name like Larry Williams, or Marcus Sharpe? Hmm, if only he would have thought this whole thing through a bit more.
